  • 50 grams seaweed dried or fresh, wakame or hijiki seaweed
  • 1 tbsp miso paste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tbsp mirin
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds roasted
  • tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice or yuzu juice

  • If using dried seaweed, soak them in water for 20 minutes, then drain.
  • Slice the seaweed into bite-sized pieces if using wakame or other whole seaweed varieties. Place in a bowl.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the miso, soy sauce, mirin, sesame seeds, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and lemon juice or yuzu juice.
  • Thoroughly mix the dressing until fully combined.
  • Pour over the dressing on the prepared seaweeds, then stir until all the seaweeds are coated.
  • Top with more sesame seeds for garnish.
